Nissan + Disney Partnerships
During my tenure at TBWA/Chiat/Day, I was on the Nissan account full time. They had over a dozen vehicles, launched new models every other month and had events, or live activations, just as often. One of the most exciting partnerships that Nissan penned for the year was with Disney through Star Wars and A Wrinkle in Time. Each partnership had its role. The vehicles were to be featured alongside the iconic and always culturally cool brand name of Star Wars. The Wrinkle in Time partnership was to highlight the purpose mission focus of the Nissan brand.
Being brought on as the Content Director, it was my responsibility to highlight these partnerships on social. There were about half a dozen live activations that we did with Star Wars/Wrinkle in Time movie and many were executed with a well thought out real-time posting strategy. Through my leadership, my team mastered capturing, editing, strict client & legal approval process with tight posting schedules. It takes special attention to detail to project manage real-time content across multiple channels of communication. Here are two examples of our live activation campaigns that involved Influencers, students, greeting events and Red Carpet Premieres of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and A Wrinkle in Time. Jessica Wardwell was my photographer for many of these events.
With these partnerships, we often traveled to Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas and Nevada.
