As my role expanded into all things digital content at Unilever, often times it included eCommerce content with stringent visual guidelines and timelines. This type of work wasn’t the most creative or versatile of my career, but it was important to the viability, competitiveness and growth of Unilever’s online sales. What Unilever found as an incremental value to my hiring, is that I also knew how to use Lightroom and Photoshop. Because of this, I saved the company and my teams tens of thousands of dollars a year by avoiding outside agency fees. This made editing and adaptations efficient and effective in turning assignments around quite quickly. After two years, I have adapted hundreds of pieces of eCommerce photos and videos.

Due to this unexpected content assignment, I’ve become a technical expert at eCommerce compliant guidelines and standards when building product pages for brands on retail eCommerce sites.
