Digital First Launch

Similar to the responsibilities I was given with the Degree Advanced Protection dry spray integrated marketing launch, I took lead on the content strategy, development and adaptation for a new format launching product, Deodorant Wipes. On a personal note, these have become my favorite take with me, have at all times product. I love them!

There were six deodorant brands launching this new format under the Unilever umbrella. These deodorizing wipes format were new to the category, they were similar to cleaning/antibacterial wipes, but these were meant for your body, for a refreshing underarm, chest and neck cleanse. Knowing they would be compared, the goal if the campaign, outside of introducing the format, was to educate people on how to use them, why they’re clever and when to apply them. Each brand had a tailored target audience with their tailored usage occasion.

As a digital first approach, we focused on creating short form social assets with GIFs, stills and boomerangs. Additionally, I needed to carve out a portion of the creative time to develop eCommerce compliant content and website material. This was done 6 times over, one strategy for each of the brands. Collecting and cataloging was a beast of an assignment, but the organization is what made the project more seamless down the line.

This production was shot down in Mexico City where I was the sole client approving individual on location. I was entrusted with making the final creative decision on behalf of the Degree team.
